Web Design for HVAC Companies

HVAC websites built for emergency search, seasonal demand, and getting named by AI assistants when somebody has no heat at 11pm.

An HVAC website has one job on the worst day of the year: be the company somebody calls when the furnace dies at eleven at night and they are searching from a phone with 4% battery.

What is different about heating and cooling

  • Demand is spiky and seasonal. The first hard freeze and the first 95 degree day are your two biggest revenue events, and your site has to survive both.
  • Most searches are emergencies. Somebody with no heat does not browse. They call the first name they trust, and trust is decided in about four seconds.
  • Service area beats address. Nobody visits your office. They need to know you come to their suburb, and Google needs to know it too.
  • Recruiting is half the traffic. Good techs are harder to find than good customers. Your careers page is a revenue page.

What we build

  • A phone number that is tappable, visible, and above the fold on every single page.
  • Emergency service pages separated from routine maintenance pages, because the two visitors want completely different things.
  • Service area pages that are real content, not the same paragraph with the town name swapped.
  • Financing and maintenance plan pages, because both raise average ticket and both get searched by name.
  • Schema that states your service area, your hours, your emergency availability, and your licence numbers in a form machines read.
  • Page speed under a second, because a phone on cellular in a cold house is not a fast connection.

The part most HVAC sites are missing

When somebody asks an assistant “who should I call for AC repair in Omaha,” it names two or three companies. There is no page two. Getting into that sentence is a specific piece of work: consistent business data across the web, structured markup an assistant can parse, and content written to be quoted rather than skimmed. We have been doing that work for months, and most of your competitors have not started.

A note on reviews

Reviews are the single strongest ranking and trust signal in home services, and the most common way companies damage themselves is review gating: sending happy customers to Google and unhappy ones to a private form. It is against Google policy and the penalty is every review you have. We build the honest version instead, and it works better anyway.
